Hawthornden Primary School is in the area of Polton Hall in Bonnyrigg, Midlothian.

The school celebrated its 50th Birthday on 23rd April 2019.

We have 276 pupils across 12 classes ranging from Primary 1 to Primary 7 and our Enhanced Learning Class, ‘The Nest’.

Our school has a large gym hall, a Health Zone and library.
